Population

The population of Paraguay is approximately six million seven hundred and fifty-five thousand seven hundred and fifty-six (6,755,756) according to the statistics for the year 2015.

Among the most important exports of the country are live and cold meat and grains in general, the most important of which are soy, corn and wheat.

Capital Asuncion

Is the largest city in the Republic of Paraguay and one of the oldest cities of South America,  it was founded in 1537. The city area is 117 square kilometers where the city is an independent metropolitan area that is not part of any circle. It is located along the Asunción Bay, on the left bank of the Paraguayan River, near the Palcomayo River and has one of the most important river ports.


City of Ciudad del Este

Located in the east of the country on the banks of the Parana River, known as its commercial and shopping centers, it has a bridge called Brazil's Friendship Bridge, which separates it from the Brazilian city of Foz de Iguazu, that is famous for its tributaries (Cataratas) and is frequented by tourists from all over the world. Also the Arab and Muslim community is frequent,


City of Encarnacion

Located in the south of the country lies on the border with Argentina and is separated from the Argentine city of Posadas by a bridge, known for its tourist coast on the Parana River and close to the Jesuit ruins.
